BHOPAL : Contestants of dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa – Season 9’ Karishma Tanna and Harpal Singh Sokhi were in city to promote the show. The show would be aired from July 30, every Saturday at 10:00 PM on COLORS.

Talking to media persons at hotel Courtyard by Marriott here on Friday, they both shared their experiences.

Speaking on item songs, model-turned actor Karishma Tanna said, “It is the demand of public, so we can’t say whether it is good for society or not.”

“As an actor and dancer, I have always been inspired by actor Madhuri Dixit because she was not only a very good actor but a  great dancer too. I have not met her personally but I always try to learn something from her movies. I’m also a great fan of Amitji. I think there no  Bollywood actor can match him,” said Tanna adding that “you will fell odd to hear that whenever I’m upset I dance in closed room and without music. And it makes my mood okay and I get energy from inside.”

 Speaking about her upcoming movie ‘Tina & Lolo’, the young actor said, “Sunny Leoni and I will be seen doing action in the movie.  It is nearing completion, only shooting of last song remains.

“I want to play a women-oriented role and it’s my dream role. There are many directors in Bollywood to whom I like but I want to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali,” she added.

Well-known chef Harpal Singh says, “I’m from Khadakpur. I want to be a pilot but my father and brother send me to a hotel management institute saying that if you don’t like then come back. And it this way I became chef.

Since childhood, I was very shy. Whenever a party was organise at my home, my other family members use to dance but I always used to hide somewhere.
