Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): An extremely controversial video of Madhya Pradesh’s BJP leader has surfaced on social media showing him with a woman in an ‘objectionable’ situation on Delhi-Mumbai Highway late in the night.
The BJP leader, Manohar Dhakad, hails from Mandsaur and the ‘obscene’ act was captured by high-security cameras installed on the 8-lane expressway.
The matter is said to have taken place on May 13, whereas, the video started to surface on Wednesday. Police have filed an FIR against him and are actively searching for him.

Dhakad removed from National General Secretary post
According to the police, the video was shot under the Bhanpura police station area. The video shows Dhakad coming out of a white Baleno car parked on the expressway.
Since the video surfaced, Dhakad’s mobile phone has been unreachable and attempts to contact him have failed.
Meanwhile, the Dhakad Mahasabha Youth Association has removed him from the post of National General Secretary.
Highly condemnable: DIG Ratlam
Condemning the matter, DIG Ratlam Range, Manoj Kumar Singh said, “Such an obscene act at a public place is highly shameful. The incident occurred on an 8-lane highway which was newly constructed. There are possibilities for this matter to grow serious and action would be taken accordingly. At present, the matter is under investigation.”

FIR registered
Bhanpura police have registered a case against Manohar Dhakad and another individual under sections 296, 285, and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS). At present, efforts are underway to locate both accused.
Manohar Dhakad's wife is an elected District Panchayat member from Ward No. 8 in Mandsaur’s Bani village.
