Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram Slips At Damoh Railway Station While Boarding Gondwana Express

Damoh (Madhya Pradesh): Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram sustained injuries after he slipped in an attempt to board a train in Damoh on Saturday.

The incident happened at Damoh railway station when he was about to get on the Gondwana Express, which was going from Delhi to Jabalpur.

As he tried to board the train, his foot slipped and he could not get on.

According to information, the accident took place around 3:30 AM. After the minister missed the train, station staff and his security team started searching for him around the station and in other trains.

It was later confirmed that he had not boarded the train and was still at Damoh station.

Minister Oram then continued his journey to Jabalpur by another train, the Sampark Kranti Express. He reached Jabalpur on Sunday and was taken to the Circuit House, where railway doctors gave him first aid.

He received minor injuries on both knees, but his condition is stable. Speaking to the media, Minister Oram said, “There is nothing to worry about. It was a small accident and I am fine now.”

He also requested people not to believe any rumors and assured everyone that he is in good health.

Railway officials said they will review the safety arrangements at the station. Senior DCM Madhur Verma confirmed that the railway department is taking the matter seriously.

After receiving medical attention, Minister Oram continued his journey from Jabalpur to his final destination.

His supporters and local officials were relieved to see that he was safe.
