Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia Flags Off Gwalior–SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express; Regular Service To Start From July 4

The new direct train from Gwalior to Bengaluru was flagged off at 3 PM from platform number 4 of Gwalior railway station.

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia flagged off the inaugural run of the Gwalior–SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express (Train No. 11085/86) on Thursday, June 26.

The new direct train from Gwalior to Bengaluru was flagged off at 3 PM from platform number 4 of Gwalior railway station.

Regular service will begin from Gwalior on July 4 and from Bengaluru on June 29. The train will run once a week, connecting major cities like Bhopal, Nagpur, Kacheguda, Dhone, and Dharmavaram, and will complete the journey in about 40 hours.

The train was flagged off from platform number 4 of Gwalior railway station at 3 PM. The launch ceremony was attended virtually by Chief Minister D. Mohan Yadav and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia was present at the station and will flag off the train.

The special train (number 01086) left Gwalior at 4 PM and will reach SMVT Bengaluru at 8:35 AM on June 28.

It will pass through Bhopal, Nagpur, Kacheguda, Dhone, and Dharmavaram. The train has 22 coaches, including sleeper, AC general, and economy class coaches.

After flagging off the train, Jyotiraditya Scindia boarded the train. He will travel through Shivpuri to Guna.

In Guna, he will get down and attend local events. During the journey, he is expected to interact with passengers and collect feedback.

After leaving Gwalior, the train will stop at Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Bina, Vidisha, and Bhopal, then go via Nagpur to reach Bengaluru.

The full journey will take around 40 hours.
