Twins Held For Cutting Cakes With Swords, Creating Nuisance In Bhopal

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Twins have been arrested for cutting their birthday cake with a sword and creating nuisance on the Airport Road while celebrating the occasion.

A video of the incident went viral on social media on April 22 following which Gandhi Nagar police registered a case against unidentified seven youths.

The viral video shows that a group of youths parked their cars in the middle of Airport Bridge and put 11 cakes on the bonnet of a car, which they cut using swords. The youths lit firecrackers and caused panic among other commuters. Police investigation revealed that the incident took place at 12.15 am on April 20.

Further investigations revealed that twins Arshan and Ayaan, sons of Javed Khan of Shahjehanbad area, celebrated their birthday, which was on the same day. The duo cut 11 cakes with a sword equal to the number of alphabets in their names. The duo was traced and arrested by police on Sunday. According to Gandhi Nagar police station house officer Suresh Kumar Phalkale, Arshan and Ayaan are pursuing BCom from a college and their father is a businessman. They were taken into custody and were released on bail. Efforts are underway to trace their other friends, the TI added.
