Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A 24-year-old youth ended his life by jumping in front of a train on Friday. The incident took place in the Gola Ka Mandir police station area, the police confirmed on Friday.
The deceased’s family alleged that the youth took this extreme step after being distressed due to his girlfriend.
Victim was forced to live with accused
According to police investigations, the deceased was identified as Yash Gautam. Yash had been living with his girlfriend, Simran alias Sapna Kaur, for the past two months. Simran is a resident of Noorganj Gudri.
Yash’s family has alleged that Simran was toxic and she had forced him to stay with her. She even took away his mobile phone, in order to distance him from his family and friends.
Whenever his family tried to bring him back, she allegedly threatened to send them to jail. She also warned Yash that if he left her, she would file a case against him and his family.
Case registered against accused
According to Gola Ka Mandir police station in-charge, Harendra Sharma, a case has been registered against Simran for abatement of suicide.
As soon as the case was filed, the accused fled from her home. The police are conducting raids at possible locations to arrest her and have assured that she will be caught soon.
