BHOPAL: The students welfare committee of B.S.S.S. organised an informative and interactive session on ‘Cancer Awareness – facts and myths’ on Wednesday.
Expert speaker at the programme was Dr. N. Ganesh, head and senior scientist, department of research, Jawahar Lal Nehru Cancer Hospital and Research Centre. He informed the students about the ill effects of smoking, which may lead to oral cancer.
A team of three experts from the cancer hospital conducted medical check-up of student as well as staff of B.S.S.S. In the end Dr. Ganesh clarified the doubts of the students in the open house session. The member of organising committee of the programme were Jyoti Mathur, Anuradha Goswami and Manish Puntambekar.
