BHOPAL: CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has left for Bandhavgarh on threeday vacation on Wednesday. He will be back on December 8. However, Congress has raised questions on Chouhan’s Bandhavgarh visit. Congress state president Kamal Nath has asked the Election Commission (EC) to keep an eye on Chouhan’s Bandhavgarh visit. Nath claimed that Chouhan intended to see several returning officers in the name of vacation.

He alleged that Chouhan intended to pressurise officers to commit irregularities on large scale. Nath claimed the officers responsible for elections were being pressurised at places where the BJP was about to lose. He said officers who meet Chouhan prior to counting of votes should be kept under vigil. Meanwhile, Chouhan, commenting on Nath’s statement, said he was going to the National Park for a vacation. Chouhan said nobody could temper with EVMs when media is so powerful. Chouhan said Congress was looking for excuses as the BJP is coming to power with majority.
