BHOPAL : Just like Munni in Slaman Khan starrer film Bajrangi Bhaijaan, 14-year-old Rahul has been reunited with his parents by city based organisation ‘Share and Care’, who works for children. Rahul had been separated from his family eight years ago.
Addressing the media person here on Monday at Apsara Restaurant, Ravindra Bhawan, president of ‘Share and Care’, Sayyed Sohel Hussan said, “Rahul got separated from from his family at an age of six and spent his childhood in shelters of Delhi, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
After his counseling we came to know that he hails from Dahod, Gujarat. We tried to search for his family in Gujarat but we could not find them there. After searching continuously, we came to know that the child is from Dahod village near Mandideep on the outskirts of Bhopal and his family used to migrate in search of job.
When we knew about his family, they were working in a village of Ratlam at that time.
We could search his family with the help of local people of that village and finally Rahul has been reunited with his parents after completing legal action on Monday,” added Hussan.
Hussan further elaborated, “There is another case of 14-year-old Ramzan, a Pakistan national, living in city-based shelter home for children Aarambh. Ramzan went to Bangladesh with his father who separated from his mother in Pakistan. He strayed in India to go to Pakistan. His parents are yet to be found”
