Congress leaders are failing to take mileage from anti-incumbency factor against the BJP government in the state. BJP government is in power for the past 15 years in the state. Congress leaders are doing self goal and seem anxious to let BJP come to power again.

Congress has turned silent on the issue of e-tender. Senior lawyer and Congress leader Kapil Sibbal had said during their Bhopal visit on September 21, that they would move court in a week’s time in e-tender case.
More than a month has passed but Congress leaders did not move court and scrapped the issue of e-tender from its list of issues.

A Congress leader maintains that state leaders are hiding reality from Rahul Gandhi in several matters. Rahul is given a feeling that Congress leaders are fighting against corruption of BJP government but several issues have been suppressed.
A Congress leader is continuously busy in approaching the bureaucrats in the state. This leader is said to be convincing the officers not to worry as nothing wrong would be done to anyone. It is clear from this that these leaders have been guaranteeing people of hushing up of inquiries in all cases of corruption. Rahul Gandhi had said that inquiries in all cases of corruption would be initiated, if Congress came to power.
Congress may seem fully active in media, social media and issuing statements but nothing has been done for working at the grassroots. Congress leaders had claimed that tickets would announce soon but nothing has happened so far. Top Congress leaders to ticket contenders are camping in Delhi for ticket and they have left the arena in the state vacant for the BJP.
