Second suicide in Minister’s hotel in 3 months

After receptionist, another worker kills self

BHOPAL: Within a gap of 4 months, another employee of the hotel of Minister Uma Shankar Gupta committed suicide. On Tuesday night, a teenaged staff of Hotel Shree Ganga Palace owned by Higher Education minister Uma Shankar Gupta, committed suicide. Hotel Ganga Palace, Lakherapura, Hamidia Road, is under Kotwali police station.

This is second suicide in Hotel of Uma Shankar Gupta. Four months back, hotel receptionist had committed suicide. Vishal Sarwariya, 22, son of Babulal Sarwariya, a resident of Imambada was working as a receptionist in hotel ‘ Shree Ganga Palace’.

According to Kotwali police, Jitendra Namdev, 18, of Rewa, was employee of Hotel Ganga Palace. He committed suicide in night. He hanged himself. Reason is still unknown as no suicide note has been recovered. Body was sent for postmortem. Case has been registered and his parents have been informed.

Youth ends life at Gunga
Prem Narain alias Pappu, 24, son of Prabhulal resident of Gwalikhedi under Gunga police station, committed suicide by hanging himself.  According to police, the deceased was labourer and he had started consuming liquor after the accident. In accident, he had sustained serious injuries and just to get relief from injuries, he used to consume liquor. Ultimately, he committed suicide.

Middle aged man kills self
Fifty-year old Ashok Peter hanged self at his residence in Shastri Nagar under TT Nagar Police Station at around 5 PM on Tuesday. No suicide note was found. The body has been sent for PM. The cops refused to speculate on the reason behind the extreme step.
