“ National flag was trampled upon in shooting of Satyagrah”
Bhopal: A complaint has been lodged with AJAK police station against film director Prakash Jha, Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and other crew members of film ‘ Satyagrah’ being shot in Bhopal. The complainant, a Samajwadi Party worker alleged dishonour to the national flag during shooting and said that he was thrashed by Jha and his security personnel when he pointed out the mistake.
Samajwadi Party leader Shamshur Rehman said the incident occurred on February 28 when the film ‘ Satyagrah’ was being shot at Central Library. He said one of the SP worker Anand Boyas, who was also a local artist in the film spotted that the national flag was trampled upon during the shooting.
He pointed out the mistake and Jha said he should pick up the flag if he feels so. After some time another flag fell down and came under the feet of people. He again pointed out the mistake and irked by this Jha asked his name and issued casteist remarks. He then allegedly slapped him followed by his security personnel. Boyas was driven out from the shooting site. Rehman said a complaint has been lodged with AJAK police station in this regard. Samajwadi Party will torch the effigy of Jha and others at Peer Gate on Sunday.
