Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): In a rarest of rare incident, a venomous snake itself died within 5 minutes of biting a man in Madhya Pradesh's Balaghat district, on Thursday morning.

This incident was reported in Khudsodi village of Balaghat. At present, the man is out of danger and is undergoing treatment at district hospital.

According to the information, the victim was identified as 25-year-old Sachin Nagpure who works as a car mechanic. He went to his farm around 7 am on Thursday. This is when, he accidently stepped on the snake.

In response, the snake bit him. However, just within 5-6 minutes of biting the man, the reptile itself died in agony, unexpectedly.

'Rarest of rare situation'

According to experts, it’s extremely rare for a snake to die after biting a human. In this unusual case, there could be a couple of possible reasons.

Sachin informed that he has been brushing his teeth for the past 7–8 years using twigs from a variety of trees, including Chidchidiya, Pisundi, Pulsa, Jamun, Mango, Tuar, Aajan, Karanji, and Neem.

He believes that the combination of these herbal woods may have made his blood toxic to the snake, causing its death.

Forest department ranger Dharmendra Bisen called it a 'rarest of rare' case. He explained that a snake may die immediately after biting a person only under highly unusual circumstances. One such possibility is that the snake’s venom sac could rupture if it twists sharply after delivering a bite, leading to its sudden death.

Snake was extremely poisonous

After the incident, young man informed his family about this. The family members reached the spot. They took the snake and the young man to the hospital.

Here the family members told that the snake that bit was not an ordinary snake, but a Dongarbelia snake. It is extremely poisonous
