Bhopal: Puppy Miniature Pinscher (Min Pin), has come into the limelight after winning the “Best Puppy” award in recently concluded Third Dog Show. Known as the “King of Toys” for his stately appearance, it costs over Rs 1 lakh.
The Min Pin is extremely handsome in his short, sleek coat. Colors include red, black and rust, and chocolate and rust. It is a fearless, energetic, and alert companion dog who enjoys the company of his family. The Min Pin is best suited for children.
It had participated in recently concluded 3rd dog show in which over 600 dogs from various states had participated. It was grand show as people got an opportunity to see the dogs of various breeds and varieties in the show.
Vibha Tripathi, dog lover who owns the puppy, said, “It is a fearless, energetic, and alert companion dog who enjoys the company of his family. He’s intensely curious, and always ready for action. He’s got great energy and is intelligent and vigorous. He’s an excellent watchdog.” “It is good detective. Living with a Min Pin is similar to living with a toddler who needs constant supervision. But that is only initially. Once it gets family, and then there is no need for extra care. On the contrary, it becomes quite easy to handle Like every dog, it needs early socialisation – exposure to many different people, sights, sounds, and experiences – when they’re young,” she added.
She said, “We offer it packaged non-vegetarian food. Normal meat and mutton may be harmful for it. It is best suited for Indian climate. We do not have to take extra care for it. But simultaneously, we have to provide conducive atmosphere for it.”
