Protest held against the lathicharge on ABVP members in Indore

Khargone: ABVP members of the  city held protest in the city against lathicharge and violence done by the Police on ABVP members in Indore. Dinesh Yadav of ABVP also gave a memorandum to ADM which is stated  to the Inspector General of Police.

Yadav said that ABVP had always worked for the welfare of the students across the country. And on 23rd August when ABVP members visited the Arts and Commerce College at Indore to have interactions with the students they came to know that some anti-social elements do hooliganism and eve teasing in the college. To which the ABVP members handed a memorandum to the Principle of the college and went to Bhawarkuan Police Station to give another memorandum to the Station In-charge PS Ranawat.

But instead of listening to the ABVP members CSP Pratap Singh and PS Ranawat ordered lathicharge on the ABVP members and brutally beated the ABVP members. They also took some members to the station and behaved indecently to them.

ABVP members have raised angst against such work procedures of the police and also demanded the suspension of CSP and Station In-charge for protecting the political goons.

Gaurav Mahajan, Sachin Pathak and other members were also present during this protest.
