Alirajpur, Rajgarh & Dindori SPs ; Sheopur, Alirajpur collectors Removed
BHOPAL: The impact of two-day commissioner-collector-SP conference, convened by the chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, is coming to the fore. Chouhan, on Friday, ordered removal of two collectors and three SPs.
Sheopur collector Pannalal Solanki and Alirajpur collector Shekhar Verma were removed for non-performance and so were SPs of Dindori, Alirajpur and Rajgarh.
SP of Rajgarh RA Choubey was posted as AIG PHQ. SP of Dindori ML Chari as commandant of 14th SAF battalion and SP of Alirajpur Kumar Sourabh as commandant of 6th SAF battalion.
Additional collector, Harda, Ganesh Shankar Mishra has been posted as collector, Alirajpur and chief executive officer (CEO), district panchayat, Hoshangabad, Abhijeet Agarwal has been posted as Sheopur collector. CEO, Shajapur, Sudesh Malviya has been removed. Solanki and Verma have been posted at Mantralaya.
Himani Khanna has been posted as SP of Rajgarh, Simla Prasad as a SP of Dindori and Kartiken K as SP, Alirajur. During commissioner-collector conference, the districts of were rated on the basis of implementation of programmes of central and state governments.
The ratings of Jhabua and Alirajpur was low as far as implementation of schemes was concerned. This led to Chouhan issuing orders to remove them. T
Cases of malnutrition deaths were frequently coming to fore in Sheopur. Solanki had to bear the brunt of the deaths of malnourished children. Alirajpur collector was removed as it was found that implementation of Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan and lavatory construction was not done properly, besides malnutrition cases.
Sources said some more officers may also be transferred on the basis of assessment done in conference.
