Pathology lab owner booked for forging doc’s signature

Bhopal : Govindpura police, on Tuesday booked a 26-year-old owner of pathology lab owner on charges of forgery in connection of using forge signature and seal of a doctor from past one year. However no arrest could be made by the police till the filing of report.

Police said that a complaint was lodged following the complaint of Health Officer Dr NQ Khan in this regard. Police further said in the complaint, Khan told that earlier Dr Mohanti (MBBS) made complaint about accused youth namely Chandrashekhar Tiwari (26), a resident of Awadhpuri who owns a pathology lab.

Mohanti told Khan that from past one year, the accused was using his signature and seal to claim bills on his name. Subsequently, Health Officer approached Govindpura police station and lodged a complaint against accused pathology lab owner. Meanwhile, following the complaint of health officer, the police have registered a case under section 420 of the IPC against the accused and launched a manhunt to nab him.
