Paras Jain inaugurates CBSE Athletic Meet

Ratlam : Three day- long CBSE Cluster Athletic meet commenced here on Thursday and will continue till October 18. Students from over 70 schools of the Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh reached here to take part in the meet under the auspices of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadu Academy. District Incharge minister Paras Jain inaugurated the Athletics Meet on Thursday.

While addressing the programme, he said that sports grounds teach the discipline in life. He said that enthusiasm towards goal gives achievement. MP Finance Commission Chairman Himmat Kothari said that MP government has given much emphasis to the sports in the state and budget has been enhanced substantially.

Presiding over the programme, Ratlam city MLA Chetanya Kumar Kashyap said that special efforts are being continued in the state for the growth of the sports activities. Welcome speech was delivered by Gurnam Singh Dang.
