Officials Keeping Complaints Pending To Be Punished, Says, MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that officers guilty of keeping complaints pending for a long time will be liable for punishment.

No work related to revenue, distribution of scholarship, and other schemes should be left pending in districts, said the Chief Minister while chairing Samadan online meeting at Mantralaya on Friday. The CM also praised the officials of Sagar, Katrina, Singhrauli for performing their duties diligently. Directing the officials to address all the pending cases immediately, Yadav warned against any negligence on the part of district collector and other officials. He also stressed on completing the activities of Jan Kalyan Abhiyan by January 22. 

Speaking about the land related cases, Yadav emphasised on transparency in mutation and marking of boundaries stating that order of land distribution itself is not adequate as it is also mandatory to mention it in the map.

Emphasising on distribution of cycle, books and scholarship, Yadav said all necessary work to provide facilities in schools should be undertaken. A campaign shall be run to increase the enrolment of students in schools, said the CM, adding that the State is ahead in higher education and that there is need to take it to the top in terms of school education as well.

Taking action on a complaint filed by Jabalpur-based Rahul Singh, directions were issued to impose a fine of Rs 82,000 on the official responsible for the delay in issuance of Ayushman card to the beneficiary.  It has also been directed to provide Rs 5000 additional along with treatment amount to the beneficiary.

On the complaint of Bhopal’s Anil Malviya that stone slabs were not put on the drain close to his house, the direction was issued to stop a salary increment of municipal corporation employees who failed to perform the duty. Directives were issued to stop the salary increment of officers of Urban development and Housing Department for failure to provide possession of land to complainant Rajesh Kumar Verma.

Similarly, over a complaint of Vijay Singh Chouhan of Jhabua over unnecessary delay in installation of transformer, the district collector has been asked to take necessary action against the guilty employee. On the complaint of Samandar Singh of Guna that no relief amount was given in the snake bite death case, the Chief Minister directed to suspend the patwari and issue notice to the officer concerned.  

Collector told to provide impetus to Jan Kalyan Abhiyan

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has instructed collectors to provide impetus to Jan Kalyan Abhiyan on Friday. Addressing collectors virtually, teh Chief Minister asked them to solve the public grievances and achieve the target of providing benefits to beneficiaries under Jan Kalyan Abhiyan by January 22. CM highlighted the need for healthy competition among districts to lead in the implementation of government schemes.

The identity of collectors will be defined by their work and best implementation of public welfare works, he added. The collectors were also told to do surprise inspections of police stations. The CM also said that  PM Narendra Modi had started a campaign against tuberculosis under which 24 districts of Madhya Pradesh have also been identified. The campaign will be conducted till March 24.
