NEEMUCH : Neemuch Brothers and City XI moved to advance round by winning their respective matches in the Independence Day football tournament being organized by municipal council here. The tournament is being played President Cup.
While Neemuch Brothers beat Neemuch Football Club by 3-0, City XI trounced Yougman XI by 4-0 to move into the next round.
Earlier, a formal inauguration of the tournament was done in presence of dignitaries. Journalist Vivek Khandelwal was introduced to the players. Social activist Babulal Ahir, Sanjay Rawat, BJP leader Ashok Joshi, Sunil Kataria, nand kishore Sharma, Om ji Soni, Harcharan Lodha and Mahesh Moolchandani were also present on the occasion.
