Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Youth are the backbone of the country and they need to come forward and work, said BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj here. She was addressing the concluding session of the two-day boot camp ‘I am BJP Future Force’ on Sunday.

For the bootcamp, the BJP had selected 100 youths from different professions and without any political background. Reiterating PM Narendra Modi’s thought that a country can become powerful if people from different professions join politics, Swaraj said one needs to come out of their comfort zone to achieve that target.

BJP state president V.D. Sharma said PM Modi is working to end casteism and dynasty in politics. All other political parties have become fiefdom, and are run by a single family, he said. He said the Modi government pulled 25 crore people out of poverty.

Minister Vishvas Sarang said India’s development plans will become more effective if more intellectuals join politics. Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav said that when he became the Mayor, Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) had liabilities of Rs 800 crore and in a two-and-half year period, he made it debt-free.

Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation Chairman Dr Anirban Ganguli said there could be a difference in the output of workers but their vision remains the same; all of them work with the theme of ‘Nation First’.

The co-cordinator of ‘I Am BJP Future Force’, Jaivardan Joshi told Free Press that out of the total participants, 25 youths will be selected and taken to Delhi, where they will have an opportunity to meet parliament Speaker Om Birla and other top leaders. The selection will depend on their approach top asking questions and their behaviour during training programme.
