In the workshop, as many as 35 children of age group 8-16 years are learning voice exercises and body movements under the guidance of city-based noted theatre director Prem Gupta.
Speaking about the workshop, Gupta says, “The main abject of the workshop is to teach the children every aspect of theatre including acting, scripting, music, singing, composing songs, painting, making props and masks everything in brief because without them we can’t imagine complete theatre.
“So in beginning, we are focusing on body language including gestures and postures and voice exercises. In this way they would be able to express themselves better. In coming time, we’ll also teach them the basics of scripting, music, singing, composing songs, painting, making props and masks,” added Gupta.
