Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The results of Class 10 and Class 12 second examinations conducted by the MP Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) will be declared at the end of July i.e. on July 28 or 29.
The evaluation work of the second examinations has been completed. It was done in two phases. After evaluation, preparation for the result will begin. Due to less number of students, it will take around four days to prepare the result. The mark sheet of the examination will be given by combining the results of the first and second examinations.
Nine lakh answer sheets of 3.5 lakh candidates have been evaluated in the second examination which began from June 17. The Class 10 examination concluded on June 26 and Class 12 on July 5.
Among the students who have opted for the Second Examination, just around 9,000 seek to improve their marks. The rest are those who failed to clear the main examination. The Second Examination was conducted at 1,305 centres all across the state.
Besides, the Board's Examination Committee will take a decision on how the evaluation will be done in the case of the 10th question paper being solved by 12th students at a center of Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal Bhopal on July 24. The answer sheets of the wrong question paper have been sent to the committee.
“The students will not suffer. They will not have to go through the stress of the examination for the third time again. A decision will be taken in their interest,” secretary of MPBSE, K D Tripathi said, adding that action has been taken under the Examination Act 1937 against the Center Head and Supervisor found guilty in this case.
This is for the first time that the MPBSE (MP Board of Secondary Education) is conducting a Second Examination both for students who failed the Main Examination or who want to improve their scores.
