Hit By Train Near Bhopal Junction, Youth Dies
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A tragic accident claimed the life of a 17-year-old Class 12 student on Thursday night at the outer of Bhopal railway station. The boy, identified as Yash Raghuvanshi, was struck by an approaching train while he was trying to vomit on the tracks.
Yash, a resident of Kamla Nagar and the only son of sports teacher Sunil Raghuvanshi, was travelling with his maternal uncle, Neeraj, when the incident occurred. The family was returning from a visit to relatives in Vidisha.
According to Neeraj, Yash began feeling unwell while on the train, and despite his uncle's objections, he got off at the station’s outer to vomit. While standing near the track, Yash lost his balance as a train approached at high speed and was hit.
His uncle witnessed the heartbreaking moment and immediately alerted the authorities.Police arrived at the scene and later handed over the body to family after post-mortem examination.
One Dies, 3 Sustain Burns After Car Catches Fire In Balaghat Village
Balaghat (Madhya Pradesh): A 24-year-old man died and four sustained severe burns after a car carrying five people dashed against a tree and caught fire in Puni village Panchayat under Rampayali police station at 3am on Friday. The injured were brought out of the car with the help of villagers and sent to the district hospital in Balaghat.
According to reports, the incident occurred when five youths, all residents of Bhilai in Chhattisgarh, were returning home after attending a wedding ceremony at Katangi in Balaghat. Because the car driver was dozing off, the vehicle went out of control and hit a roadside tree.
As soon as the four-wheeler rammed against the tree, it caught fire which soon engulfed the vehicle. The youth who was killed in the incident was identified as Rakesh Shrivas, resident of Khamriya, Durg, Bhilai. The condition of four other youths identified as Satya, Krishna Sahu, Vikram Khade and Slok Joshi was stated to be serious.
