Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A rape accused, out on bail, threatened to throw acid on the 17-year-old victim if she doesn't agree to settle the case in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior. He even made her intimate photographs and videos viral on social media after being released from the jail.
Hajira Police have registered a complaint and started a search to nab the accused.
According to information, a class 11 student was allegedly raped by his coaching friend in September 2024. The accused invited the girl to a hotel room for a meeting and forced himself upon her. He even clicked her intimate pictures and was constantly blackmailing her. Acting on the victim's complaint, the police arrested him and put him behind bars.
After getting bail, the accused defamed her on social media.
As soon as he was released from jail, the accused made the student's videos and photos viral on social media. The accused threatened her that if she did not settle the case, he would throw acid on her. The student reached the police station and registered a case against him.
Accused called victim to meet in a hotel room
It all started in September 2024. The victim, a class 11 student, was taking coaching classes in the Char Shahar Naka area. Accused Vivek Sikarwar, alias Romeo, also studied in the same class. The duo became friends. A few months ago, in September, the accused called her to meet him at a hotel. Vivek booked a room here and took her inside. He started misbehaving with her; when she objected, he assaulted her and allegedly raped her. He captured her personal videos and photos on his mobile phone and started blackmailing her.
He would send her obscene texts on the phone and molest her on the way to coaching. When the student protested, he beat her up. The student lodged a complaint at Hazira police station, following which he was arrested.
To avenge his arrest, the accused made her private videos viral after getting the bail.
