Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A farmer consumed pesticide and killed himself, citing harassment by his cousins in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur. Minutes before ending his life, he posted a video narrating his ordeal and pleading for justice from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The villagers also took to street, demanding action against the accused.

The incident took place last week and the video is now making rounds on the social media.

The farmer named Raja Sen ended his life by consuming pesticide after recording three videos, one lasting over six minutes, in which he accused his cousins, Kaushal Sen and Mukesh Sen, of harassing him over a land dispute.

He alleged that his cousins, tortured him to take control of his land. He claimed they assaulted him, broke his hands and legs, and left him helpless. Unable to bear the harassment, Raja decided to end his life.

The viral video sparked outrage among Raja's family and local villagers, leading to protests. His family placed his body on the Sihora Highway, blocking the road and demanding immediate action against the accused.

Responding swiftly, the police arrested Kaushal and Mukesh Sen based on the video evidence. Additional Superintendent of Police, Anand Kaladgi, stated that a case has been registered against the accused, and justice will be ensured for the victim’s family.
