To make it convenient, parents will also receive information about the allocated school via SMS on their registered mobile numbers.
Under the RTE Act, at least 25% of seats in private, unaided schools are reserved for children from weaker and disadvantaged sections.
These children can study without paying any fees. The process is fully online and transparent which ensures fair opportunities for eligible children.
Admission process between April 3 - April 15
Parents of selected children must complete the admission process by visiting the assigned school between April 3 and April 15.
They need to submit the required documents to secure their child’s admission.
The State Education Center said that the process has been made simple and transparent through technology.
This reduces the chances of errors and ensures that education is reaching all children in need.
The lottery will start at 2 pm and parents can check their child’s school allocation and download the allocation letter from the RTE portal after 2:15 pm.
