Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): March has brought significant heat to Madhya Pradesh, as cities like Bhopal, Indore felt heat as the sun came up, on Saturday. The state will start experiencing heat waves from March 15, with temperatures expected to be 2 to 3 degrees higher than normal during both day and night.

The Gwalior and Chambal regions will be the hottest, while Bhopal, Indore, and Ujjain may witness unseasonal rain (Mawtha).

Weather expected on Saturday

Daytime temperatures in Bhopal, Indore, and several other cities may rise by 2 to 3 degrees.

What do meteorologists say?

According to information, summer has knocked the doors with the beginning of March. The Meteorological Department has predicted that 15 to 20 days of heatwaves will occur between March and May. However, April and May will be even hotter, with 30 to 35 days of extreme heat expected.

According to IMD Bhopal’s senior scientist Dr. Divya E. Surendran, hot winds will blow for about five days in March. After March 15, when temperatures cross 40°C, the heatwave impact will become more noticeable.
