Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The upcoming Global Investors Summit (GIS) will not only showcase investment opportunities but also the rich culinary heritage of Madhya Pradesh. Guests from across India and around the world will be treated to a special menu featuring renowned regional cuisines from Bundelkhand, Baghelkhand, Malwa, Nimar, and more.

Sources said that traditional dishes from these regions will be specially curated for the summit’s attendees. Separate arrangements will be made for vegan guests. Given the international nature of the summit, special care will be taken in preparing the food to ensure it is less spicy for foreign guests, who are typically not accustomed to highly seasoned dishes. The best chefs from across the state have been entrusted with the task of preparing these delicacies, promising a memorable culinary experience for all attendees.

Regional cuisines from Madhya Pradesh will be showcased at the GIS, offering a taste of the state’s diverse food heritage. The menu will feature dishes from Bundelkhand, Baghelkhand, Malwa, and Nimar, with careful preparation to cater to both vegan and non-spicy preferences for international guests. Bundelkhand’s cuisine includes Kadi, Papad, Bharta (brinjal), Dal, Rice, Batti, and Churma, known for its simple yet flavourful combinations.

Baghelkhand’s specialties feature Kadhi of Rasaj, Rikamach’s vegetable, and Khurchan, all rich in local ingredients and traditional preparation methods. Malwa, influenced by Mughal rule, brings dishes like Poha, Jalebi, Dal Baffla, Pappad Ki Sabji, Sabudhana Khichdi, Palak Poori, AaloSabji, Matar Pulao, Chakki ki Shak, and Biryani.

Other Malwa favorites like Jowar Ki Rotti, Amadi Ki Bhaji, Kusli, Daraba, and Lavang Lata will also be served. The summit’s food preparations will be led by the best chefs in the state, ensuring these regional cuisines are presented in a way that appeals to both domestic and international guests.

Madhya Pradesh Tourism Corporation is actively making lodging arrangements for the dignitaries Sources said that more than 1,400 hotel rooms have been reserved for the two-day event.
