Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Don’t waste your time we have only four years to face assembly elections and we are having work of five years, so start working for the party, Congress state president Jitu Patwari said while addressing the first meeting of wing in-charge here on Friday. The Congress party has appointed 42 in-charges of various wings and departments and their first meeting was held here.
In the meeting, the members got introduced to each other. Patwari asked members to manage their time for party activities. He asked in-charges to prepare the tour and activity programme of 15 days and in place of staying in a hotel, they shall choose to stay at one of the party leader’s house. He asked senior leaders to assess the programme.
'Great insult for Indians deported like terrorist'
Addressing a press conference, Patwari attacked the Union Government for keeping their eyes closed on the insult of Indians deported by the US government like prisoners or terrorists. He asked the Government about the statement of Union Foreign Minister given in the Parliament about handcuffs on the hands of women.
He also commented on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who claims that Donald Trump is his friend. Congress leaders staged demonstration in front of Ambedkar’s statue and raised slogans against the Union government.
