Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh government has launched the 'School Chalein Hum' campaign 2025, an initiative aimed at increasing school enrolment and ensuring uninterrupted education for students across the state. The campaign was officially inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav at a state-level admission festival (Praveshotsav) held in Bhopal on April 1.
Speaking at the event, CM Yadav emphasised the government’s commitment to strengthening public education and making it accessible to all. He highlighted that government schools are on par with private institutions, and many great personalities have emerged from public education systems.
CM Rise schools to be renamed
From now on, all CM Rise Schools will be renamed as Sandipani Schools, honouring the ancient Indian guru-shishya tradition. Speaking at the state-level admission festival (Praveshotsav) 2025 in Bhopal, CM Yadav described the decision as historic. He stated that the term "CM Rise" sounded like a colonial-era name, and renaming the schools after Rishi Sandipani reflects India's rich educational traditions.
The event was attended by several state ministers, including Dr Kunwar Vijay Shah, Uday Pratap Singh, and Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap. A live broadcast was arranged for wider participation.
Academic material distributed on time
For the first time, all academic materials have been distributed on time, ensuring that students receive textbooks as soon as they enter their new classes on 1 April. Additionally, from July onwards, bicycles will be provided to girl students to facilitate easier access to education.
Furthermore, the government has introduced Education Portal 3.0, which will streamline student admissions and school-related processes. District-level admission festivals are also being held across the state, ensuring free textbook distribution and welcoming new students into schools.
