Strong winds with speeds of 40-50 km/h may affect Bhopal and Jabalpur. Weather Outlook for the Next Four Weeks

Night temperatures will remain 2-3°C above normal (21-24°C) across all divisions.

Due to warm western winds, maximum temperatures in Indore, Sagar, and Narmadapuram divisions may rise to 39-42°C, while in Ujjain, Bhopal, Gwalior, and other divisions, they will range between 38-41°C.

Light rain is expected across most districts, and heatwave conditions are unlikely.

Night temperatures in Indore, Ujjain, and Chambal divisions will be 23-26°C, which is 2-3°C above normal.

Due to humid eastern winds, temperatures in Bhopal, Jabalpur, Sagar, Rewa, Shahdol, Gwalior, and Narmadapuram will remain between 22-24°C.

Maximum temperatures in Indore, Gwalior, Chambal, Sagar, Rewa, and Shahdol will rise to 41-43°C.

Heatwave conditions may prevail for 2-3 days, with no rainfall expected, though cloud cover may develop in the southern regions due to western disturbances.

Northwestern winds will strengthen, raising minimum temperatures to 25-27°C in Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Chambal, Sagar, Rewa, and Narmadapuram.

Maximum temperatures will rise to 42-44°C across the state, and heatwaves may persist for 2-3 days.

Light rainfall is expected.

Due to strengthening northwestern winds, minimum temperatures across the state will be 3-4°C above normal (27-30°C), making nights warmer.

Maximum temperatures in Gwalior, Chambal, Sagar, and Rewa may reach 43-45°C, while in Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal, and other regions, they will range between 41-44°C.

A cyclonic circulation system over the Bay of Bengal may trigger heatwave conditions for 3-4 days at the end of April.

April-May to Be the Hottest Months

Just as December-January are the coldest months and July-August bring the highest rainfall, April and May are known for peak summer heat. This year, temperatures exceeded 41°C in mid-March. However, due to western disturbances and cyclonic circulation, temperatures dropped slightly in the last three days of March. The first half of April is expected to bring a mix of weather conditions.

Residents are advised to stay prepared for intense heat and potential thunderstorms over the next few weeks.
