Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): 'Together in life and death,' an elderly couple died at the same place, same day... just minutes apart in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district.

The 70-year-old old man died of a heart attack after he overheard his family members discussing his wife's serious medical condition. Minutes later, the wife also succumbed. They were cremated on the same pyre!

The deceased were identified as Bhagwati Bai, and Kalyan Singh Dhakad alias Kaluram (70), residents of Dhanoria. He was a farmer by profession.

According to information, Bhagwati was admitted in critical condition to the hospital. In the morning, the family members were discussing that her health started to deteriorate and she would not be able to live for a day or two. After hearing this, her husband fell unconscious.

The family members then rushed him to Guna Hospital where doctors declared him dead due to heart attack. Meanwhile, one of the family members got a call that Bhagwati had passed away. The two of them died at the same time.

Couple cremated at same pyre

Following this, the family members cremated both husband and wife on the same pyre, leaving the family in grief.

The people of the village were talking about the fact that both of them loved each other so much that they died together or it might be a coincidence.
