Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A Fortuner car parked outside a house in Jabalpur was set on fire by miscreants over an old bribery case on Thursday. A video of the burning car is widely circulating on social media.
A video of the burning car has surfaced, showing flames engulfing the vehicle while the owner desperately tries to douse the fire by pouring water on it.

According to information, the incident is of Jabalpur’s P&T Colony, where the car was set on fire by miscreants. The incident took place in the Sanjeevani Nagar police station area.
The car owner, Sangram Singh, has filed a police complaint, suspecting Sunil Patel, the driver of Shahpura Tehsil’s SDM, to be involved.
According to him, a few days ago, he had helped the Lokayukta trap Sunil Patel in a bribery case. He believes this could be the reason behind the attack.

The incident has caused panic in the area, with locals gathering to witness the burning vehicle.
The police have registered a case and started an investigation. Officers are checking CCTV footage from the area and questioning residents to identify the culprits.
Authorities have assured strict action against those responsible for the crime. The police are also looking into other possible angles to determine the exact reason behind the incident.
