Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A case of murder has come to light in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior where a minor boy shot an electrician to take revenge for the alleged insult of his father.

The incident occurred at an electronics and electrician shop near the old police outpost at Char Shahar Ka Naka.

According to information, the injured electrician was identified as Ravi Rathore. He was sitting at his shop when a masked youth opened fire on him and fled the scene.

Two arrested

Ravi was shot in the leg and was immediately rushed to JAH Hospital’s trauma center, where he is currently undergoing treatment.

The police launched an investigation and reviewed CCTV footage from the area. The footage showed a young man with his face covered running from the scene. Based on the footage and further inquiry, police identified the shooter as a minor and arrested both him and his father.

According to the investigation, the boy’s father, Rajendra Singh, had an argument with Ravi Rathore earlier that day over parking his auto-rickshaw outside the shop. After learning about the argument, the boy took a country-made pistol and shot Ravi Rathore.

Both the father and son have been taken into custody, and police are continuing their investigation.
