Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A married woman has accused her husband of defaming her by editing and posting obscene photos and videos on social media. She claims that he wants a divorce and is trying to tarnish her reputation.

The woman stated that her husband left for work in another city a year ago and never returned. They remained in touch for six months, but then he stopped communicating.

According to information, the woman, a resident of Bara village in MP's Gwalior rural, lodged a complaint at the SP office. She was married to Shohrat Ali in 2017, and their marital life was normal for six years. However, her husband later left home, citing work commitments. She alleged that after some time, he called to say he no longer wanted to be with her. His family then harassed her mentally and forced her out of the house.

The woman further claimed that her husband posted her edited pictures with an unknown man and a child, falsely labelling them as her family. She said this act brought her shame and social humiliation. Initially devastated, the woman considered suicide but later decided to fight for justice. She also accused her in-laws of verbal abuse and threats. Police sources inform that an investigation is underway, and appropriate action will be taken soon.
