Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A white Bolero SUV plunged into a canal in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior district on Friday. The sound of the plunge alerted the local villagers who informed the police about the same. A JCB machine was deployed to extract the car from the water.
After rescuing and inspecting the car, police officials suspected the car to have been involved in an accident that took a young man's life. Police have launched a probe into the same and are investigating the case.

According to information, the vehicle, registered as MP30 C1444 in the name of Sheela Parihar from Balla, Dabra, recovered. During police questioning, Parihar revealed that the car was driven by a man named Jitendra Rawat. She mentioned that Rawat had purchased the vehicle for Rs. 2 lakh just 15 days ago and was seen driving it again the day before the incident. However, she could not provide further details about his family or his residence.
Police believe the case may be linked to a recent road accident near Rajput Dhaba in the Billoa area. In that accident, an unidentified vehicle allegedly struck Ram Babu Sharma, son of Gargacharya, causing his death. The victim’s family has accused the driver of murder. CCTV footage reportedly shows the Bolero involved in that incident. Police officials later confirmed that the recovered vehicle had been part of an accident in the Billoa area. Investigators are examining every angle as the case remains under active scrutiny.
