Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is set to inaugurate the 6th Regional Industry Conclave (RIC) in Narmadapuram on Saturday (7 December). Over 4000 representatives, including international delegates, will attend the event.
These include nearly 3000 MSME representatives, 75 big investors, and international representatives from Canada, Mexico, Malaysia, the Netherlands, and Vietnam.
Themed on 'New Horizons, New Possibilities,' the conclave aims to boost investment in sectors like food processing, agriculture, dairy, tourism, and renewable energy.
The conclave will be divided into three sessions. Chief Minister Yadav will hold one-to-one meetings with investors in the first session. Over 10 major investors are expected to share their investment proposals.
The second roundtable session will focus on the renewable energy sector (Renewable Energy Park). Over 40 applications have been received. Discussions surrounding the scope of investment in tourism and how to encourage exports are on the agenda.
The conclave will also witness a virtual bhoomi-pujan (foundation stone ceremony) and the inauguration of various industrial projects. Land allotment letters are most likely to be distributed to investors after the event.
Rs 31K Crore worth proposals received in Rewa RIC
Earlier on October 23, the 5th Edition of RIC was held in Madhya Pradesh's Rewa. A total of investment proposals worth Rs 31K Crore were received. Before this, four events of the RIC were held in Sagar, Gwalior, Jabalpur, and Ujjain.
The events aim to bring investment to Madhya Pradesh's different regions based on their USP.
