Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The body of a liquor shop salesman was found on the road under Itkhedi police station late Thursday night. Alleging foul play behind the death, the kin of the salesman claimed that a woman called them at night and informed about the incident.
A case has been registered and primary investigations indicate that the man died in a road accident, police officials said. According to reports, Lambakheda resident Mahendra Singh Dangi (38) was a salesman at a liquor shop in Sharda Nagar.

Dangi’s kin informed police that late in the night, a woman called them and informed that he was lying injured near a dhaba. Dangi’s family members reached the spot and found the woman at the spot. The woman informed them that Dangi gave her lift on his bike.
However, Dangi lost control on the bike when they reached near a dhaba in Itkhedi area. The bike went into a pit. Dangi received serious injuries in the accident and died.
The family members alleged foul play behind the incident, claiming that the woman who was also on the bike was not injured. The ACP Neeraj Chaurasia said locals confirmed the occurrence of accident, which resulted in the death of the man. The woman will be questioned in this connection, he added.
