Madhya Pradesh June 26 Weather Update: State’s Rain Ride Begins! Umbrellas Up, Heavy Rain Alert For Balaghat, Alirajpur & More

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh is under a heavy rain alert today (Thursday).

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that Balaghat and Alirajpur may receive up to 8 inches of rain in the next 24 hours. A total of 15 districts are likely to get heavy rain, according to the forecast.

June 26:
Orange alert for Balaghat and Alirajpur.
Heavy rain in Neemuch, Mandsaur, Jhabua, Dhar, Sehore, Vidisha, Raisen, Narmadapuram, Satna, Maihar, Panna, Seoni, Mandla.
Yellow alert in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Jabalpur, and nearby areas.

June 27:
Heavy rain likely in Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Damoh, Katni, Umaria, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Mandla, Dindori, Anuppur, Seoni.
Rain to continue in other parts too.

June 28:
Alert in Gwalior, Morena, Bhind, Datia, Ashoknagar, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Rewa, Jabalpur, Mandla, Seoni, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Sehore, Vidisha, Rajgarh.
Yellow alert in remaining districts.

June 29:
Heavy rain warning for Gwalior, Shivpuri, Narmadapuram, Betul, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Seoni, Mandla, Dindori, Anuppur, Shahdol, Maihar, Satna, Rewa, Mauganj, Sidhi, Singrauli.
Rain to continue in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Jabalpur.

Districts with heavy rain alert today (June 26):

Neemuch, Mandsaur, Jhabua, Dhar, Sehore, Vidisha, Raisen, Narmadapuram, Satna, Maihar, Panna, Seoni, Mandla.
Balaghat and Alirajpur are under an orange alert, while Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, and Jabalpur are under a yellow alert.

A trough line is passing through the center of Madhya Pradesh, and a cyclonic circulation is also active. These weather systems are causing continuous rain across the state.

According to senior weather scientist Dr. Divya E. Surendran, this rain pattern may continue for the next 4 days in many districts.
