Chhindwara (Madhya Pradesh): Monsoon has been kind to many districts of Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rains lashed districts like Morena, Chhindwara, Bhopal and Indore and many more. Flood like situations were witnessed in districts like Saunsar of Chhindwara, Morena and many others due to the torrential rains.

Due to the continues rain, drains are living in spate while roads have become pond in Chhindwara.

According to MET officials, moderate to heavy rains are expected in many areas of state due to the active monsoon. Weather pattern is expected to be the same.

MP Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel assured of compensation money to the farmers suffering crop loss due to the incessant rain.

While talking to the media, the minister said, "The weather had been bad since 2-3 days. Rain & hailstorm leaves standing crops damaged. Officials have been asked to survey the affected villages. 25% of the compensation money will be paid immediately.
