Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A major fraud involving fake caste certificates has been uncovered in Madhya Pradesh, revealing that 25 government employees secured their jobs through these illegal documents.

Special Task Force (STF) received confidential information that led to an investigation. They identified individuals, including teachers, doctors, engineers, clerks and web developers, who had submitted fake Scheduled Caste certificates to gain employment.

The investigation revealed that an organised gang was behind this scheme, helping youth obtain government jobs by creating fake documents. The STF has registered a case and is conducting a thorough examination of the fraudulent certificates. Notices have also been sent to the officials who issued these caste certificates.

STF DSP Sanjiv Tiwari confirmed that 25 people had obtained jobs through fake certificates.

The informant, Gaurishankar Rajput, provided crucial information about the organised gang operating in various districts of the state. The STF is investigating the gang's activities in multiple departments, including Education, Health, Revenue, Tribal and Police.

Under the leadership of STF Director General Pankaj Kumar Srivastava and SP Rajesh Singh Bhadoria, an 11-member team has been working diligently to uncover the full extent of this fraud. More revelations are expected, said police.
