Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): With the decline in Covid-19 cases, the positivity rate on Sunday dipped to 0.3 per cent in the state. District including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur reported less than 100 cases in a day. Gwalior became the first major city in state to have reported no fresh case.
Besides, 18 districts - Burhanpur, Bhind, Khandwa, Dindori, Harda, Guna, Mandla, Umaria, Chhindwara, Chhattarpur,Barwani, Singrauli, Sidhi, Katni, Shahdol, Satna, Shivpuri and Gwalior did not see seven a single, while their active cases figure stands at 4, 7, 11, 7, 14, 23, 7, 28, 32, 14,23,19,28,9,20, 31, and 75 respectively.
Agar-Malwa, Alirajpur, Sheopur, Seoni, Datia, Jhabua, Dewas, Morena, Balaghat and Narsingpur recorded one corona case while their active cases are 27, 2, 39, 35, 49, 30, 19, 22, 21, 40 and 19 respectively.
Madhya Pradesh reported 274 corona cases taking the infection tally to 7,88,183 and toll to 8552 while 780 Covid patients were discharged. A total active cases have come down to 4251 in the state. Around 76, 880 samples were sent for testing, of which 207 were rejected.
Indore reported 82 corona cases with caseload of 1,52, 519 and toll 1370. In Bhopal, 88 corona cases took the tally to 1,22,695 and toll to 966. In Indore, active cases have dropped to 695 but Bhopal still has 1,291 cases. Jabalpur reported 18 corona cases and active cases here have come down to 145.
