Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Directs Officers Of Public Departments To Not Go On Leave Amid India-Pakistan Tensions

At the same time, people shall be asked not to lend ears to rumors. The services to deal with any kind of calamity shall be strengthened.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): In the wake of heightened tension between India and Pakistan, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav held a high-level meeting at Samatva Bhawan of CM House with senior officers on Friday.  

He directed that until the situation becomes normal, all the officers and field staff of departments connected with public facilities shall not go on leave. 

He added, national security is prime duty and top priority shall be given to civilian security. 

He also directed officers to focus on necessary public facilities. All departments should level-up their preparations. All necessary security measures shall be taken with immediate effect. Stren action shall be taken to contain anti-national rhetoric. 

At the same time, people shall be asked not to lend ears to rumors. The services to deal with any kind of calamity shall be strengthened.

The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Home JN Kansotiya, ACS,Rajesh Rajora, DGP Kailash Makwana, ADG Intelligence A Sai Manohar etc.

CM inaugurated 3-day Tribal Shilpgram Mahotsav

CM Yadav, on Friday, also inaugurated the three-day Tribal Shilpgram Mahotsav at Bhopal’s Ravindra Bhavan, and extended wishes by presenting authorized user cards to four artists of the GI-tagged Gond Art. 

Sharing the information on his official X handle, he wrote, “I released a coffee table book based on the museum dedicated to freedom fighter Late Badal Bhoi Ji in the Chhindwara region.” 

He added, “This confluence of diverse tribal arts, crafts, and culture offers a glimpse into our rich heritage. Our government is committed to giving traditional crafts and folk arts global recognition.”

The event was attended by cabinet colleague Kunwar Vijay Shah and other dignitaries.
