Love Story Ends In Tragedy; Couple Found Hanging From Neem Tree In MP's Shivpuri

Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh): A couple hanged to death from a tree in Shivpuri district on Friday.

The incident is a suspected suicide case linked to a love affair.

According to information, the incident occurred in Khadicha village under the Karera police station limits, where villagers found the bodies hanging from a tree outside the village.

The deceased were identified as Naresh Mishra (32) and Reena Rawat (30). Reena was married and had two daughters, while Naresh was unmarried. Both had farms located close to each other, and they were reportedly in a relationship for a long time.

At the scene, police recovered a bag containing clothes of both individuals, leading to suspicion that the two may have been planning to leave the village. However, they chose to end their lives instead.

After being informed, Karera police reached the spot, took down the bodies, and sent them for post-mortem.

A case has been registered, and the police are taking statements from the families to understand the full circumstances.

Station in-charge Vinod Chhawai said further legal action will be taken based on the investigation.
