BHOPAL: RTI activist Ajay Dubey and member of Transparency International has expressed surprise over the cases of corruption filed against chief minister and his ministers in Lokayukta were disposed of before assembly elections 2013.
Dubey alleged that cases against chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, finance minister Jayant Mallaiya, housing minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, former minister Ajay Vishnoi, Chaudhary Chandrabhaan Singh, Kamal Patel, Laxmikant Sharma and Ramakant Tiwari filed in Lokayukta during 2012- 13 have been closed.
Dubey claimed that Lokayukta is working like a paper tiger as it failed in prove charges against these influential persons. Dubey quipped as to why Lokayukta could not prove charges in complaints filed between 2007 and 2008.Dubey said that his organisation is soon going to expose the suspicious working style of Lokayukta.
