Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) and SDM have tested positive in Shahdol Friday. Earlier, a DSP tested positive. While in Katni, 24 members of same family have tested positive. Katni reported 51 corona cases.
Madhya Pradesh continued to record more deaths due to coronavirus on Friday. State recorded 19 deaths in last 24 hours. The state's tally on Friday evening stood at 37,499 positive cases and 962 deaths. Indore accounts for 8,159 positive cases and 328 deaths, followed by Bhopal with 7,708 cases and 217 deaths.
Ujjain is at the third spot with 75 deaths and 1,269 positive cases. Burhanpur recorded 492 while Neemuch has 810 positive cases. Khandwa accounts for 690 positive cases, and Khargone’s corona tally stands at 900. Jabalpur recorded 1,704 cases.
Morena recorded 1,718 cases while Mandsaur has 475 cases and Dhar has recorded 483 cases. Dewas reported 460 cases. Sagar recorded 751 cases. Tikamgarh has 326 cases and Raisen recorded 399 cases while Bhind till date accounts for 496 cases. Sheopur has 257 cases and Rewa has 420 cases while Rajgarh has 389 and Barwani has 829 cases. Chhindwara has 202 and Vidisha has 368 cases. Shajapur has 307 cases while Damoh has 275 cases.
Datia has 241 cases while Satna has 224 cases and Jhabua has 194 cases. Panna has 122 cases and Balaghat has 156 cases while Sehore has 332 cases.
Hoshangabad has 289 cases and Narsingpur has 216 cases while Betul has 286 cases and Shivpuri has 358 cases. Ratlam recorded 504 cases. Chhatarpur has 382 cases. Ashok Nagar has 110 cases and Sidhi has reported 125 cases while Agar-Malwa has 101 cases. Singrauli has 148 cases while Shahdol has 95 cases and Guna have 91 cases. Anuppur has 75 cases and Alirajpur has 186 while Katni has 251 cases. Umaria has 46 cases and Seoni has reported 56 cases. Dindori has 55 cases and Niwari has 57 cases while Mandla has reported 47 cases. As per health department, 935 positive cases were reported in state on Friday. During the day, 13, 437 samples were tested across the state.
