ALIRAJPUR : A district level workshop for construction workers’ was organized at local Krishi Upaz Mandi premises by District Labor Post-bearer’s Office on Monday. The Madhya Pradesh Government’s labor and district’s in-charge minister Antersingh Arya attended the workshop as the chief guest.
The workshop was presided over by the District Panchayat president Anita Chauhan while collector Shekhar Verma, MP Building and Other Construction Labor Board secretary S S Dikshit, MLAs Nagar Singh Chauhan and Madho Singh Dawar, Janpad presidents and public representatives were present.
Two minutes silence was observed to pay tribute to late President DR APJ Kalam and former labor minister Jagannanth Singh. Addressing the programme, the minister Arya said that the state government has made many laws for the welfare of the labors. He gave boost to the labor accident amount and doubled it up while on the demand from the MLAS, he announced fund of Rs 15 lakh to the municipality of Alirajpur and Rs 10 lakh each to Jobat as well as Chandrashekhar Azad city councils.
