Job-oriented education key to ‘Make in India’: Pavaiya

Inaugurates foundation day celebrations of Pvt Varisities Commission

BHOPAL: Minister of state for higher education, Jaibhan Singh Pavaiya, speaking at a programme here on Thursday, said that the students can build their future through job-oriented education. Private universities should take up “Make in India” as a mission and their objective should be all-round personality development of students.

Pavaiya was addressing a seminar organised on the 8th Foundation Day of MP Private Universities Regulatory Commission as a chief guest. Pavaiya expressed his happiness over working of the Commission. He said the Universities should emphasise on research and skill development.

The prizes under ‘Yaad Karo Kurbani’ fortnight were also distributed on the occasion.

 AISECT University was given first prize. Swami Vivekanand University, Sagar was given second prize while the third prize was given to Amity University, Gwalior.

Nehru Yuva Kendra, national vice president Vishnudutt Sharma, as special guest, said private universities have a key role to play in the field of education in the society.
