Jabalpur: Owaisi campaigns for party councillor candidates in district

Owaisi addressed a public gathering at Subba Shah Maidan in the district. There are six candidates of AIMIM, who are in the fray for the post of councillor on the in the Muslim majority wards of the distict.

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) National President Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday reached Jabalpur to campaign for party councillor candidates.

Owaisi addressed a public gathering at Subba Shah Maidan in the district. There are six candidates of AIMIM, who are in the fray for the post of councillor on the in the Muslim majority wards of the distict.

Owaisi promised the public that he would keep visiting Jabalpur till he died. He targeted the Congress Party and said that if Muslims and tribal people were in trouble in Madhya Pradesh, then only the Congress party was responsible for that.

“I would like to ask Kamal Nath and Digvijaya Singh that the people of Madhya Pradesh gave power to Congress Party Congress, but why did the block leave Congress and go to BJP,” Owaisi said.

He further said, “I was neither against any religion nor am I. Similarly, I was never against Hindu nor will I be against them. Indian Muslim gave their everything for the freedom of the country. Your problem will not be solved until the minority community comes out as a political force in the country.”

On the other hand Owaisi also targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has raised the question why the prime minister is saving Nupur Sharma. Why did she not get arrested?

Police arrested Zubair in a false case. If anything happens to Zubair, then the Modi government will be responsible for it, Owaisi added.
